There are few things worse than when real life and technology gang up on you. Throw Christmas in the mix, and, well, I don’t think anyone could blame you for being late. You’ve done a great job keeping up so far; I couldn’t say the same for us and our blog. ;p
Jade, you rest up and recharge. Real Life happens whether we like it or not. We know this comic is your baby (not literally, but you know. >_>) and you wouldn’t miss an update lightly. It’s fine. :D
When my daughter was born I piled a bunch of pillows on the bed and shoved it in the corner, so that when I fell asleep while holding her, the pillows held her up and she didn’t fall. Now she’s 8 and the cuddliest munchkin you ever saw… ;)
I wish that’d work. He will just cry sometimes and nothing works– rocking, holding, feeding, burping, leaving him be, undressing him, wrapping him up. Nada… It is extremely tiring, consuming, and frustrating. Acid reflux? Colic? I dunno. We’ve swapped formulas and he’s better but…
Good things are worth waiting for. Taking care of Real Life is more important than an update. You’ve got a new baby and a new job, not to mention all your other obligations. If people can’t understand that and give you grief over it, you send them to me and I’ll sit on them. >=D

Personally, I think that going this long without missing an update is impressive.
