There is only a sketch today. A finished update will come but I am not sure which day.
Im curious, how seperate are the personalities in Dorothy? Do they ever feel a loss of self, a mingling of ideas/thoughts/etc.?
They are completely separate and do not mingle. Not internally. To the observer, it appears she is either off inside her head or is talking aloud responding to whomever is not currently out. But she is also not overwhelmed. Dorothy cannot sense the emotions or thoughts of the others. They are simply minds trapped within her, separate, at a ready. She can, however, hear them talking to each other at night and sometimes loses sleep over it. They have to be quiet in there or she can’t get any rest. I think Lion keeps Scarecrow and Tin mostly in line because he needs sleep, too LOL.
Interesting, so physiological limits still affect them when not called outward? Lion still needs rest even though he is a bodiless mind until drawn out, but Scarecrow and Tin Man do not?
yes, I believe that is correct. This is true even if they were separate bodies, given that even though Tin and Scarecrow are “alive” they are also constructs/abominations and do not require sleep like bio-things do (i.e. like Lion and Dorothy). In the prologue strip, the first one for Dorothy, you see Lion and Dorothy have succumbed to the red poppies but Tin and Scarecrow are still up and are just guarding them/unsure what to do: http://www.56shards.com/2010/07/15/dorothy-prologue1/
Miss Muffet didn’t do it. She doesn’t even have a straw.
