Seems to me that “upon” and “affixed” have swapped places.
Also, “perhaps you own superior scanning implement” should probably be “your own” instead of “you own”
Now with potential typos having been mentioned previously, further discussion of the current page of this sequential art can commence. However, previous commentary by my fellow consumer Marcus has already established much of what I had desired to articulate.
Still, it does seem prudent of Alice to wait for the return of their errant companion, and further scanning of the vicinity of the cottage could reveal further information that could increase the probability of success, at least in the short term.
