This concludes our SHARD Dust side story! We will start next week with what happens next with David and Daniel! And, no, sadly, Miss Muffet is not rushing off to help David. She was yelling when Daniel shouted David’s name there in that last panel and doesn’t know anything is up.

This … isn’t my prettiest comic, but I am having trouble getting back into drawing them, oddly enough. This side of the story must be told, and I believe it is done for now, but I wanted to show that not everything is pleasant at Headquarters / Library.
I hope you don’t mind this little break in the Daniel/David story. I have been wanting to address these two particular points for some time and show that the characters are asking questions, too:
1.) Is every one of Mother Goose’s allies eager to give up their shard powers/return to their stories?
2.) What’s up with Dr. Muffet’s nickname for his daughter?
Gretel’s use of black and yellow for Goldilocks shows a lot of how she feels about the character, as well as it being both the color Goldie is most akin to matched with what she wears all the time.
In honor of Mother’s Day, and because I’m a florist and off-my-rocker-busy, I’ve decided to put up the last part of this arc… and also because it also stars Mother Goose. Enjoy!
Um, if two versions appear, I tried to kill the initial post because it was missing a piece of Velvy dialogue. Just go with the one with Velvy dialogue:)
Part 2 of 3! Although Velvy’s dialogue covers up a lot of the art in the middle panels, it was done mostly purposeful as he is being very distracting by constantly talking.
I can’t decide whether Velvy talking about the crown or fawning over the pink Skeiry is my favorite line. Probably the pink one.
