Gretel’s use of black and yellow for Goldilocks shows a lot of how she feels about the character, as well as it being both the color Goldie is most akin to matched with what she wears all the time.
In honor of Mother’s Day, and because I’m a florist and off-my-rocker-busy, I’ve decided to put up the last part of this arc… and also because it also stars Mother Goose. Enjoy!
Um, if two versions appear, I tried to kill the initial post because it was missing a piece of Velvy dialogue. Just go with the one with Velvy dialogue:)
Part 2 of 3! Although Velvy’s dialogue covers up a lot of the art in the middle panels, it was done mostly purposeful as he is being very distracting by constantly talking.
I can’t decide whether Velvy talking about the crown or fawning over the pink Skeiry is my favorite line. Probably the pink one.
First installment of a three-page arc!
If you’ve ever seen me at the SNAFU Convention in town, you’ve seen my Skeleton Fairies (Skeiries). I’m so happy to finally showcase them in SHARDS! Stay tuned tomorrow for more of these guys!
Okay, so I am a bit of a tease… I couldn’t help it! Miss Muffet refused to get back in the comic unless I told her all my secret plans for upcoming strips and promised that, yes, she’d be in them! Sadly, the audience must wait a little bit for explanations but I hope you enjoy the ride as we get geared up for Chapter 4: Black and White, and of course more Shard Dust pages.
This is the epilogue for the BBW, as you won’t see him again in this chapter. I didn’t have time to do a full strip of this but I wanted to show what more was going on with him and in his head. Yes, he is reattaching his arm. It’s actually quite easy to repair himself. I wanted to show his brute strength, too, so I had him rip that tree off at the base just so he could have a sit-down.
